Help Finding or Forming a Support Group in NJ

There are over 6,750 local support groups in NJ for many different illnesses, addictions, disabilities, bereavement, parenting problems, caregiver and other stressful life issues.  Often meeting in community centers, church or temple basements, the group members share their experiences, strengths and hopes.

To help a friend, family member or yourself, the N.J. Self-Help Group Clearinghouse provides free information on these no-fee support groups.  They also help those interested in joining with others to help start a needed new group in their community.  For help, call them at 1-800-367-6274 or go to their website at http://www.njgroups.org/.
